Lead Teacher

The Early Childhood Lead Teacher works as a member of a teaching team with a co-teacher in one of the School’s classrooms. The Lead Teacher works cooperatively with the other teachers to plan and implement a model early childhood program; to build and sustain high-quality relationships with parents and any school visitors; to collaborate on curriculum development and classroom & school-wide planning; to oversee daily operations of the classroom; and maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children. Lead Teachers are in charge of following the prescribed curriculum timetable given to their class and take systematic observations and create learning portfolios for their children, twice a year. They daily assist in cleaning the classroom and preparing the learning environment for the next day.

Preschool Assistant Lead Teachers

The Assistant Lead Teacher works as a member of the teaching team with a Lead Teacher in one of the school’s classrooms. The Assistant Lead Teacher works cooperatively with the other classroom teachers to plan and implement a model early childhood program and to develop a strong and cohesive curriculum. They daily assist in cleaning the classroom and preparing the learning environment for the next day.
